What
Is Derby?
The Grand Prix Event Derby at River Glen
Equestrian Park consists of a jumping course that combines stadium and
cross/country elements. There are approx 12 - 35 efforts, on varied
terrain that may include banks, ditches and water. The Jumping classes
will conform to USEA/USEF rules for Show Jumping, with dimensions of
obstacles conforming to USEA/USEF rules for eventing, 2006.
Also offered are optional Dressage tests. Dressage classes will be scored on a penalty point basis as in Eventing.
